"Our mission is student success... Academic, Artistic, and Humanistic."

At my school, the quote above is our mission staement. I never knew that my school had a mission statement! Next thing you know that line is at the top of every official SOTA paper, and our school website. I will now break this down and tell you what I think of this.
"Our mission is student success..."
Student success is what every school wants. Every school wants their students to graduate and blah, blah, blah. SOTA does have the highest graduation rate in the Rochester City School District. Or at least that is what us students are told. This may be a lie, but almost all of seniors graduate their year.
"... Academic..."
Again, academic seccess is what every school wants. I don't really follow the SOTA academic rates, but I think that they are close to the top. I know a lot of smart people in my school. There are about fifteen in my grade, and I get along with a few of them. But still, SOTA is a good school to go to for learing and learning in the arts. I am not just sayingthat because I want a good grade or to impress the faculty in my school. I am saying it because in my opinion it the truth.
"... Artistic..."
School of the Arts is named "School of the Arts" because that is what it is. In order to get into SOTA you have to audition for a major. These include visul arts, dance, vocal, instrumental, piano, theatre tech, drama, and creative writing. I was originally in drama, but changed to creative writing because I found that I liked writing more. Any way, SOTA is again a good school of the arts. Hence why it's called School of the Arts.
"...Humanistic."
If I'm correct, when they say "humanistic," they mean that they want a school where not many fights take place, and getting students ready for what life has in store. First of all, SOTA is doing good in both. But I am still confused on what they are trying to say.
I have said what I thought of my school's mission statement. Now to meet all of the requirements to get a good grade, I have to say what I would like to change about my school. To be honest, I don't know what to change. Most people would say that they would want to change the lunch menu (don't we all), change the hours of the day, bring back the snack line, or have the vending machines open all day. But for me, I would say that I would change the way... ugh. I don't know what to change. I say that i really don't care if anything is changed or not. It's life. There are many changes in life and you just have to deal with them.
